Awesome Tech Support. Like the functions it supports and the fit and look in the panel.

Electronics International’s A-1 instrument provides pilots with the precision and stability needed in order to accurately monitor Outside Air Temperature or Carburetor Temperature while in-flight.
Not only will Electronics International’s A-1 display Outside Air Temp with a stable, one-degree (Fahrenheit) resolution, it also comes complete with an “Ice Zone” light that alerts the pilot when the Outside Air Temperature could possibly contribute to ice forming in the aircraft carburetor.
A Monitor is only as good as its probes. That’s why Electronics International (EI) has taken the development of its probes, connectors, and accessories very seriously. EI has been designing and manufacturing probes for over 30 years. All of our probes have been designed in-house by our engineering team. Our team has studied, tested, and designed temperature probes since the 1970′s. They have written research documents such as The Pilots Manual – Leaning and Diagnosing Engine Problems and Accurate CHT Measurements. Just as a Monitor is only as good as its probes, a probe is only as good as its connector. That’s why EI’s engineering team developed EI’s proprietary OLC-1 connector. The OLC-1 connector greatly increases reliability and reduces installation errors as compared to traditional type connectors. Whether you’re looking for a reliable and accurate CHT, EGT, TIT, or various other probe types, EI has what you need. With more than a half million probes sold and tested you can count on EI’s reliability.

Awesome Tech Support. Like the functions it supports and the fit and look in the panel.
Really glad to have accurate oil psi and temp! [It’s a] match with previous [EI] installs.
[I chose EI because of its] reputation [and the] quality and appearance of the instrument.
Keep it up. I’ll keep coming back.
The display is large and clear. The functions are simple and easy to use. Great purchase decision.
. . . the kit looks very well built and the company I fly for . . . has had a very good experience with your products and your customer support.
I have worked with and installed a few of your competitors’ and your systems. EI instruments’ ease of use and installation make these systems my go-to choice and number one recommendation to customers.
Just about to begin flying with the EI MVP-50P, so no in-flight feedback yet. But I did study the user manual, then sat in my plane going through the screens, menus, etc. It was very easy and intuitive to locate everything, so I’m confident that it will become second nature to do this in flight… Very happy with all interactions with EI.
Working with EI representatives from the OSHKOSH show and sales representative has been a pleasant and positive experience. They have been very helpful, truthful and knowledgeable about EI’s products. I have yet to see the MVP-50P in action in our plane. Waiting for the Top Overhaul to be completed. We are glad we secured your product at the airshow. We had no idea, that a few weeks later, we would need to have a Top Overhaul. What great timing! Having your engine monitor installed in our plane will hopefully help us keep it out of the shop for further engine repairs.
Your product didn’t feel cheaply made. Overall much better quality with the bezel and buttons and knobs. Also much easier to navigate and add fuel.
The installation was straightforward and quite easy. Reliability and accuracy far exceed the original [aircraft’s] oil pressure/temperature systems. Also, the price was about a third of the cost to replace the gauge cluster.
Every person was willing to help me when I needed and the whole purchasing process was smooth. [And, E.I.] was recommended by my mechanic.
