An Engine Monitor is only as good as its probes. That’s why Electronics International (EI) has taken the development of its probes, connectors, and accessories very seriously. EI has been designing and manufacturing probes for over 30 years. All of our probes have been designed in-house by our engineering team. Our team has studied, tested and designed temperature probes since the 1970′s. While the installation is not quite done yet, I have seen the unit in my aircraft with the engine running and the monitor producing numbers. It looks very good and I cannot wait to go flying with it!

I have been flying with EI instruments for over 20 years. I purchased the CGR-30P to update my engine instruments into one modern package.
Just about to begin flying with the EI MVP-50P, so no in-flight feedback yet. But I did study the user manual, then sat in my plane going through the screens, menus, etc. It was very easy and intuitive to locate everything, so I’m confident that it will become second nature to do this in flight… Very happy with all interactions with EI.
The older EI ultimate engine analyzer that came with my plane that I bought 7 years ago has always worked flawlessly.
