Just about to begin flying with the EI MVP-50P, so no in-flight feedback yet. Installing [EI’s FP-5L] in my RV 6. . . owned an FP-5L 6 years ago in a Cessna 206 on floats in a commercial operation in Alaska. Getting every ounce of payload, and coming home across Cook Inlet with the Cessna gas gauges near or on empty, I spent a lot of time explaining the benefits of the Fuel flow gauge… and reassured my passengers there were 12 gallons of fuel on board. I’m a believer…

The installation was straightforward and quite easy. Reliability and accuracy far exceed the original [aircraft’s] oil pressure/temperature systems. Also, the price was about a third of the cost to replace the gauge cluster.
