Product Overview

Reliable Probes

An Engine Monitor is only as good as its probes. That’s why Electronics International (EI) has taken the development of its probes, connectors, and accessories very seriously. EI has been designing and manufacturing probes for over 30 years. All of our probes have been designed in-house by our engineering team. Our team has studied, tested and designed temperature probes since the 1970′s. They have written research documents such as The Pilots Manual – Leaning and Diagnosing Engine Problems and Accurate CHT Measurements. Just as an Engine Monitor is only as good as its probes, a probe is only as good as its connector. That’s why EI’s engineering team developed EI’s proprietary OLC-2 connector. The OLC-2 connector greatly increases reliability and reduces installation errors as compared to traditional type connectors. Whether you’re looking for a reliable and accurate CHT, EGT, TIT or various other probe types, EI has what you need. With more than a half million probes sold and tested you can count on EI’s reliability.

Excellent installation instructions [&] recommend[ed] by others.

Ben C. from Alaska
Piper PA-22-160

Every person was willing to help me when I needed and the whole purchasing process was smooth. [And, E.I.] was recommended by my mechanic.

Robert W. from Wyoming
Cessna 182H Skylane

Looks Great, and intuitive to use. Packs a lot of information in a tight area, yet, I don’t need my glasses to read it!

Bill M. from Connecticut
American Champion Citabria 7KCAB

You folks do a great job. Keep up the good work.

Kevin D. from Missouri
Cessna 172 Skyhawk

Ryan C. From Washington
Cessna 182P Skylane

Gauge works great! Very happy with purchase.

Aryan M. from California
American Champion 8KCAB

[I chose EI because they offer a] certified replacement vs. back-up only and they look great.

Nic C. from South Carolina
Piper PA-28 Cherokee

The OPT-1 is more readable than the factory Cessna oil pressure/temp gauges.

Daniel N. From California
Cessna 175 Skylark

[The EAC-1] looks great running… The wiring harness was very well fabricated. Installation was easy- fit perfectly in an existing hole in panel. The brightness of the display is excellent.

Bryant H. from Texas
Cessna 172M

Some of the best customer service in the avionics network that I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with. [I chose EI because of the] features, simplicity, and the user-friendly platform.

Jon V. B. from Illinois
Cessna 172F

Very complete and thorough packaging. Well-prepped wiring harnesses. Quick and efficient turnaround time. Great communication throughout the process.

Parker C. From Georgia
Beechcraft Bonanza J35

The installation was straightforward and quite easy. Reliability and accuracy far exceed the original [aircraft’s] oil pressure/temperature systems. Also, the price was about a third of the cost to replace the gauge cluster.

Casey R. from Oklahoma
